Lexi Dunnells, DDS, MPH, is a pediatric dentistry resident at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She is an NHSC Scholar with a strong focus on improving access to oral healthcare for underserved pediatric populations.

Clinically, she is committed to expanding evidence-based, conservative treatment approaches, with a strong interest in vital pulp therapy as a means to reduce extractions and improve long-term outcomes for children with limited access to specialty care. Dr. Dunnells is dedicated to a career in public health–focused clinical practice, with plans to work as a School-Based pediatric dentist at a Federally Qualified Health Center in Springfield, OH following residency.
