My name is Firoozeh Shekari and I am currently the chief pediatric dental resident at Staten Island University Hospital. I completed my dental eduction at New York University College of Dentistry in 2021, where I recieved a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. I continued my education with general practice residency at Staten Island University Hospital, and then moved to Texas to work as an associate in a private office. During my time in private practice, I realized my passion for pediatric dentistry and returned to the same hospital where I completed my GPR to pursue training in this specialty.
