Dr. Ester Takhalova is a dedicated and motivated pediatric dental resident with a strong interest in providing compassionate, patient-centered care to children. She will complete her Pediatric Dental Residency in June 2026 at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine, where she has gained extensive training and experience in oral conscious sedation and hospital-based dentistry, including full-mouth rehabilitation under general anesthesia.
Prior to her specialized training, Dr. Takhalova earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry. During her residency, she has developed a strong clinical focus in behavior guidance, sedation, and comprehensive treatment planning for pediatric patients, particularly those with high caries risk and complex dental needs.
Dr. Takhalova’s commitment to patient care extends beyond the clinic, as she is passionate about creating positive dental experiences and improving long-term oral health outcomes for children and their families. In her spare time, she enjoys staying active by playing outdoor sports such as volleyball and tennis, dancing, and spending time with family and friends.
