Helen completed her undergrad at University of Southern California (USC), worked in a periodontal lab at Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC, got her masters in Global Health at University of California, San Francisco and then went back to USC to complete her DDS. After graduating, she finished a general practice residency at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Palo Alto and Stanford Hospital and then worked in the San Jose area for a few years before coming to Children's Hospital of Michigan for her pediatric dental residency.
