Dr. Sarah Alfaraj, DDS, is a second-year pediatric dental resident. She earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Ajman University of Science and Technology in United Arab Emirates , where she developed a strong foundation in clinical dentistry and a passion for working with children. Currently pursuing her postgraduate training in pediatric dentistry at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Alfaraj is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to the unique needs of young patients.
Her research focuses on the in-vitro evaluation of wear resistance in BioFLX crowns and zirconia crowns compared to traditional stainless steel crowns, aiming to enhance the durability and esthetic outcomes of pediatric restorative treatments. Through her work, Dr. Alfaraj seeks to contribute to the advancement of restorative materials in pediatric dentistry and to support clinical decision-making with scientifically grounded data.
