I am a pediatric dental resident at the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine, currently completing my Advanced Education in Pediatric Dentistry. I earned my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with honors, ranking among the top five in my class, and I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Biology, magna cum laude. My clinical experience includes private practice, hospital-based care, and operating room settings, with training in preventive and restorative dentistry, pulp therapy, dental trauma management, interceptive orthodontics, and sedation techniques. I also completed a General Practice Residency at Rochester Regional Health in New York, which strengthened my clinical judgment and multidisciplinary approach to care. In addition to my clinical work, I am actively involved in research focused on pediatric sleep-disordered breathing and behavioral management in children. I am also committed to education and community outreach through teaching dental students, participating in continuing education activities, and providing oral health education and preventive services to underserved populations in Puerto Rico. As a bilingual provider in English and Spanish, I strive to deliver patient-centered, culturally competent care while continuing to grow professionally and contribute to improving pediatric oral health outcomes.
