Cindy Qiang, DDS

Cindy Qiang, DDS is a second-year pediatric dental resident at One Brooklyn Health–Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. She will continue her postgraduate education in dental anesthesiology at NYU Langone Health beginning in July 2026.

Dr. Qiang earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry, graduating in the top 10% of her class with honors in pediatric dentistry, radiology, and peer teaching. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from New York University College of Arts and Science through the seven-year accelerated BA/DDS program.

Her research focuses on the use of local anesthesia during dental rehabilitation under general anesthesia, and her other academic interests are in pediatric airway health. Passionate about patient-centered care, Dr. Qiang founded the Bridging Smiles Organization at NYU College of Dentistry and volunteers with the non-profit myFace. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Society of Anesthesiologists, and American Dental Association. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys running, digital art, and playing the piano.
