Kaitlyn Solano, DMD is a second-year pediatric dental resident at University of Connecticut/ Connecticut Children's Medical Center. After earning her undergraduate degree at Wheaton College (MA), she spent time working as a dental assistant for Children's Dentistry and Orthodontics of Greenwich, CT. Persuaded to switch sides of the operatory, she attended dental school at University of Connecticut, where she was awarded the American Association of Women Dentists Eleanor J. Bushee Senior Dental Student Award. As a result of being the most frequently paged on-call resident in her PGY1 class, she presents today a case report from the CCMC Emergency Department.
