Sahar Ghahramani (MSOT) is a PhD candidate in Occupational Science at the University of Southern California, with a background in pediatric occupational therapy. Her dissertation research focuses on improving how non-pharmacological behavioral strategies are used in dental care for autistic children, with an interest in bridging the gap between research and everyday clinical practice. She takes a practical, patient-centered approach to her work, drawing on both clinical experience and implementation science frameworks. Sahar is particularly interested in how healthcare environments and systems can better support both providers and patients. Her work aims to contribute to more accessible and responsive care for underserved populations.
