Anish Cheriyan is a PGY-2 pediatric dental resident training at Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Born and raised in Long Island, NY, he completed his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Stony Brook University. Anish then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Touro College of Dental Medicine. He was awarded for excellence in pediatric dentistry and anesthesiology. He has also published research with his peers at New York Medical College on the biochemical effects of stress and anxiety. His passions in pediatric dentistry include: equitable access of care, endodontics, and special needs dentistry. Outside of dentistry, Anish is an avid Knicks fan and volleyball player.
