"Ezza Abdullah, DDS, MClinDent Pediatric Dentistry**
She is a third-year pediatric dentistry resident in the Advanced Education in Pediatric Dentistry program and a concurrent Master of Science in Dentistry program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), USA, completing a dual program integrating advanced clinical training with academic and research experience.
Dr. Abdullah is a board-eligible pediatric dentist who has successfully completed Part I of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry examination. She brings over 20 years of experience in dentistry, including extensive clinical practice and specialty training across international and U.S.-based institutions.
She completed a pediatric dentistry preceptorship through NYU Langone Health, gaining significant clinical and community-based experience serving diverse and underserved populations. She has also completed multiple externships across the United States, including training at the University of Illinois at Chicago, The Ohio State University, the University of Louisville, the University of Connecticut, and the University of Maryland, providing broad exposure to academic, hospital-based, and community care.
Internationally, Dr. Abdullah earned a Master of Clinical Dentistry (MClinDent) in Pediatric Dentistry from Jordan University of Science and Technology, aligned with UK Royal College standards, where she also completed her pediatric dentistry residency. She further gained hospital-based experience through clinical attachments in maxillofacial surgery and pediatric dentistry at Hamad Medical Corporation in Qatar.
Dr. Abdullah is actively engaged in research and scholarship. She is the recipient of a competitive research fellowship at UAB and First Place winner in the Postdoctoral Clinical Science category at the UAB School of Dentistry Scholars’ Symposium. She has presented seven posters at national and international meetings, including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (2022–2026) and the International Association for Dental Research.
She is committed to serving underserved communities and plans to continue community-based care and academic teaching following graduation.
