Dr. Anna Rebecca Gilbert, DDS is a second-year pediatric dental resident at New York University. She received her BA in Biochemistry from Wellesley College in 2020, her DDS from New York University in 2024, and will be graduating from her pediatric residency program at New York University in 2026. Service and volunteering have been a critical part of her life, having first received the President's Lifetime Achievement Volunteer Service Award in 2016 for completing over 5,000 hours of volunteering by her high school graduation. Her commitment to service continued while in dental school, as she participated in the Dental Leaders in Global Public Health course and outreach in Veron, DR in 2024, for which she received the President's Bronze Volunteer Service Award. While in residency, she participated in the Hudson, NY outreach in 2025 and the Guatemala City, GT outreach in 2026. Dr. Becca is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to participate in these programs and for her mentors throughout. She will be receiving the NYU Dentistry's Dean's Service Award in May 2026. After graduation, she plans to work in the greater Hartford area of Connecticut. In her limited free time, she enjoys Viennese waltz ballroom dance, going to library lecture series, and exploring museums and botanical gardens.
