Nicklaus Children's Hospital
My name is Angelina Adames, DDS. Currently, I am a second-year pediatric dental resident at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. I am a Dominican foreign-trained dentist who graduated from Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) in 2006. I completed a three-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where I served as Chief Resident.
I have experience working in private practice and as a mobile dentist in New York City public schools. I further advanced my training with a one-year Special Care Dentistry GPR at Helen Hayes Hospital and a one-year GPR/Fellowship in Pediatric Dentistry at Montefiore Medical Center.
I am licensed in both New York and Florida and have four years of experience practicing in a pediatric dental office. I look forward to joining a well-established pediatric dental practice in Central Florida after graduation.
I am a highly motivated and goal-oriented clinician with a compassionate, child-friendly approach to care.
Outside of dentistry, I enjoy spending time with my husband, José Roberto, and our two children, Aaron and Sarai. I also enjoy traveling, camping, and playing the violoncello.
