Jonathan Sorsok, DMD, is a pediatric dental resident at the University of Florida College of Dentistry with a passion for vital pulp therapy in both primary and permanent teeth. He is especially drawn to the challenge of saving teeth that might otherwise be extracted, using thoughtful diagnosis and evidence-based treatment to preserve function and support long-term oral health. His research explores dental clearance and infection management in high-risk children, aiming to better understand when teeth can be safely preserved rather than extracted. He will continue his training at the University of Florida, where he will also complete an endodontic residency, with the goal of bridging the gap between pediatric dentistry and endodontics through a more collaborative and comprehensive approach to care.
