Dr. Alan Truong, DMD, is a pediatric dental resident at NYU Langone Dental Medicine (PEDS) in Phoenix, AZ. He was born and raised in San Jose, California. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California, Davis, and his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine–AZ, Class of 2023. Having been in Boy Scouts for 10 years and achieving the rank of Eagle Scout, he always found enjoyment in leading, educating, and motivating his younger peers to work together towards a common goal. These experiences helped set him on the path towards his career as a pediatric dentist. Dr. Truong is dedicated to building lasting relationships with patients and families, ensuring each child feels comfortable and welcomed. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys cooking, exercising, playing the piano, and spending time with friends and family.
