Dr. Babak Badri, D.D.S., is a dedicated pediatric dentistry resident with a strong foundation in general dentistry and a deep commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry and further advanced his clinical training through the NYU Langone Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program. Following his residency, he served as faculty for NYU Langone residents, contributing to the education and mentorship of future dental professionals.
Dr. Badri is currently pursuing specialized training in pediatric dentistry through an NYU Langone–affiliated program in Denton, Maryland, where he is expanding his expertise in delivering comprehensive oral healthcare to children.
With several years of experience practicing general dentistry in private practice, community health centers, and locum tenens settings, Dr. Badri brings a well-rounded perspective to patient care. He is skilled in administering local anesthesia, nitrous oxide sedation, and oral sedation, and has experience performing procedures in operating room settings to ensure safe and comfortable treatment for pediatric patients. He works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams—including orthodontists, oral surgeons, anesthesiologists, and hygienists—to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each child’s needs.
Dr. Badri is passionate about improving children’s oral health outcomes by not only treating disease but also empowering patients and families through education. His goal is to help children develop healthy habits, prevent future dental issues, and smile with confidence. He is particularly driven to shift attitudes toward oral health from indifference to awareness and proactive care.
In addition to his dental training, Dr. Badri holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, which has shaped his strengths in teamwork, problem-solving, and continuous improvement. He applies these principles in clinical settings to enhance patient care, streamline workflows, and contribute positively to organizational culture.
