Sharon Hill, DDS, MS is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. Her primary teaching and service is at Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas where she is the Assistant Dental Director. Early in Dr. Hill's teaching career, her research interests focused on pulp therapy and pulpal healing in primary teeth. Her current professional interests center on clinical assessment and competencies at the post-doc level and improving approaches to providing compassionate, comprehensive, and enlightened oral health care for children with special health care needs in a hospital setting. Through her academic and clinical roles, she is committed to preparing future dentists to deliver informed, quality, thoughtful, individualized care to special needs pediatric patients.
