DR. ANUJA SINGARAJU BDS, MDS. PGY1 PEDIATRIC DENTISTRY, LOMA LINDA SCHOOL OF DENTISTRY
Dr. Anija Singaraju was born and raised in southern India, where she completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Pediatric Dentistry. She had the unique privilege of receiving her early education from her own parents, her father served as the director of her high school for over 30 years, and her mother was a dedicated teacher at the same school. Driven by a strong passion for pediatric dentistry, Dr. Singaraju chose to focus her postgraduate thesis on child abuse and neglect, aiming to raise awareness among school teachers and the wider community. This work reflects her deep compassion for children and her dedication to the well-being of young patients.
After getting married, she moved to Seattle, Washington, with her husband, who is also a dentist,and took the opportunity to learn and adapt to advanced dental treatments practiced in the United States, enriching her clinical knowledge and bridging practices between India and the U.S.
Currently, Dr. Singaraju is a pediatric dental resident at Loma Linda University, where she is eager to further her training and serve underserved pediatric populations. She is especially passionate about providing comprehensive care under general anesthesia and treating children with special healthcare needs (SHCN). Outside of her residency, Dr. Singaraju enjoys traveling across the U.S. with her husband, exploring new places, photography, learning to play the violin, and cooking a variety of multi-cuisine dishes.
