Kimberly K. Patterson DDS MS, Clinical Associate Professor, Director-Advanced Education Program in Pediatric Dentistry, Interim Chair-Department of Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry, Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine
Dr. Patterson received her B.S. in Dental Hygiene from Caruth School of Dental Hygiene, M.S. in Anatomy/Microbiology from Baylor University, and D.D.S. from The Texas A&M University System - Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. She completed her residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry and Children’s Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Following residency, Dr. Patterson delivered pediatric dental care in and around the Austin, Texas area until entering academics. While in Austin, Dr. Patterson was a consultant to the Cleft Lip and Palate Team at the Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas.
Dr. Patterson is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, Exam Committee member and examiner for the ABPD, consultant to the AAPD Council on Scientific Affairs, and a reviewer for the Journal of Dentistry for Children and Pediatric Dentistry journal.
