Elisabeth Thompson, Select, OTR

Elisabeth Thompson is an Occupational Therapy Practitioner (OTP) with 24 years of experience and serves as a Clinical Instructor at the University at Buffalo in the Pediatric and Community Dentistry Department. Previously, she was the Director of Occupational Therapy at University Pediatric Dentistry and received the 2023 Educator Award for excellence in teaching. Elisabeth is also a primary author of the upcoming National Inclusive Curriculum for Health Education in Dentistry.

Passionate about improving healthcare outcomes for individuals with special needs, Elisabeth advocates for collaboration between OTPs and dental providers. She inspires healthcare professionals to work cohesively, enhancing their skills and guiding future providers to excel both individually and as part of a team. Known for her creativity and motivation, Elisabeth is dedicated to driving meaningful change in patient care.
