Lisbeth Garcia, DMD is a pediatric dental resident at Boston Children's Hospital/Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She received her bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Florida International University in her hometown of Miami, Florida, and then earned her DMD at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. During her pre-doctoral career, she researched the effect of surgical and behavioral interventions on the oral microbiome, which inspired her to continue investigating caries pathogenesis in residency with the goal of contributing to improved prevention strategies.
