Dr. Andres R. Martinez II is a pediatric dental resident at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) College of Dentistry and is also pursuing a Master of Science in Oral Sciences. He was raised in Chicago Heights, Illinois, alongside his four sisters by a single mother. Coming from a humble background, his drive to pursue a better life was inspired by his mother.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from Governors State University and his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from UIC College of Dentistry. During a mission trip to Nicaragua, he discovered his passion for working with children. Dr. Martinez is dedicated to helping as many children as possible and hopes to inspire future generations to pursue careers in dentistry.
