Alexander O'Connor, DDS

Dr. Alexander O’Connor, DDS, is a pediatric dental resident at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. He earned his dental degree from the University of Missouri–Kansas City, where he developed an interest in pediatric care and patient communication.

His research focuses on using artificial intelligence to improve the readability of patient education materials, helping children and families better understand their care. He’s especially interested in health literacy, behavior guidance, and making dental visits a more positive experience.

Clinically, Dr. O’Connor enjoys working with a wide range of patients, including those with dental anxiety and special healthcare needs, and values a calm, approachable style.

After residency, he will be practicing in the Kansas City area.
