My name is Ely Kaplan and I am a second year pediatric dental resident at Montefiore Medical Center. I went to Rutgers School of Dental Medicine for dental school and then trained at a one year GPR program at the VA NJ Health Center. AFter completing my program, I moved to San Francisco where i had the opportunity to work in multiple dental setting and cultivating my passion for pediatrics. Through my work in an FQHC, I discovered eductaion and serving people most at risk for dental disease and poor oral health to be what brought most meaning to my career. These roads all lead me back to the East Coast to begin my journey to become a Pediatric Dentist.
