Resident
Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, Newark, NJ
I am Gargi Borhade, BDS, a Pediatric Dentistry Resident at the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in Newark, New Jersey. My clinical and academic interests focus on traumatic dental injuries, vital pulp therapy, and biologically conservative approaches to preserving pulp vitality in immature permanent teeth. During my residency, I have been involved in clinical case presentations and scholarly work related to pediatric dental trauma and evidence-based treatment planning. My current work examines clinical decision-making in vital pulp therapy when partial pulpotomy is not feasible and highlights the role of fragment reattachment for functional and esthetic rehabilitation. I am presenting this work at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
