Zoie Mykenzie McIntosh was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama. She earned her undergraduate degree from Oakwood University, where she was an active community volunteer, a member of the volleyball team, and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry in 2024 and is currently a second-year pediatric dental resident at UAB.
During her second year of residency, she serves as the Sparks Trainee, expanding her knowledge in interdisciplinary care for patients with special health care needs, with a particular emphasis on children with autism. As the only girl among three brothers, she values strong family connections and brings that same sense of warmth and compassion into her patient care.
In her free time, she enjoys going to church, spending time with friends and family, traveling to new cities and countries, and cycling at a spin studio. She is passionate about merging her personal values with her professional calling and is dedicated to creating positive dental experiences for children through prevention, education, and compassionate care.
