Tracy Ellen Trieu grew up in Richmond, Virginia with her older sister and younger brother. She moved to Woodbridge, Virginia during elementary school and completed high school at Osbourn Park High School in Manassas, Virginia for the Biotechnology Program. She received her Bachelor of Sciences in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia in 2017. Following graduation, she worked as a full-time pediatric dental assistant at Banaji Pediatric Dental Specialists in Falls Church, Virginia from 2017 to 2018, sparking her interest in pediatric dentistry and took additional college-level science courses at the Northern Virginia Community College in her spare time. She took graduate-level courses at George Mason University, Manassas, Virginia and Georgetown University, Washington, DC from 2018 to 2019. During this year, she worked part-time as a dental assistant with Dr. Temburni, a general dentist in Falls Church, Virginia and as a part-time nanny in Springfield, Virginia to two young children. She returned to Richmond, Virginia for a dental internship at Dr. Michael Rossetti’s practice for one year until COVID-19 began. She returned to Falls Church, Virginia to continue working as a pediatric dental assistant during the midst of COVID-19. In that following year, 2020, she pursued her dental education at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, Baltimore, Maryland and became a Vice President of Special Care Dental Association and a Pediatric Clerk in her last year of dental school in 2024. She graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in May 2024 and is now pursuing her Master of Science in Dentistry with a concentration in Pediatric Dentistry at Virginia Commonwealth University.
