Melisa White Valencia, DDS (she/her/hers)

Melisa White Valencia is a bilingual (Spanish and English) dental professional currently serving as the Chief Resident in the Pediatric Dental Residency program at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry (UMSOD), expected to graduate in June 2026. She earned her B.S. in Biology from the University of Maryland in 2018 and her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from UMSOD in 2024. Beyond her clinical work, Melisa is a dedicated advocate for student wellness and the environment. Outside of dentistry, she is a certified yoga instructor, sprint triathlete, scuba diver, and food enthusiast.
