PGY2 - Pediatric Dentistry
NYU Langone Dental Medicine, Brooklyn, NY
Dr. Breanna Benbow was born and raised in Baltimore, MD. She completed her undergraduate education and obtained a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology from Charleston Southern University in Charleston, SC. Dr. Benbow then went on to obtain her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington D.C. With a passion for serving the underserved, Dr. Benbow has worked as the General Dentist of the Columbus County Health Department in rural NC, providing dental treatment and services to underserved children and adolescents within the region. Dr. Benbow believes that no child should ever have to struggle with their self-image or confidence, which all starts with learning to love their smile. It is this belief that has driven her desire to persue her certification Pediatric Dentistry to help renew and restore the confidence of underserved and disadvantaged youth, one smile at a time. In her spare time, Dr. Benbow enjoys traveling the world touring different countries, as well as visiting local wineries. One interesting fact: As a Baltimore native, Dr. Benbow loves seafood, especially her favorite – steamed Maryland blue crabs!
