Jessica J. Chang, DDS

My name is Jessica Chang and I am currently a second year pediatric dental resident at USC Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry. I graduated from UCLA School of Dentistry in 2024. My future plans including working in central California and Los Angeles for this upcoming year. However, as my family is in Los Angeles/Orange County area, I would like to ideally work in Orange County after a few years - whether that entails starting my own private practice or working as an associate.

My interest in pediatric dentistry started when I tutored children on skid row in undergrad. Knowing these children dealt with many stressors, I wanted to do more to help them. As I taught more and more students, I saw their willingness to learn and their resilience, despite changing circumstances. When I entered dental school, I discovered their lack of access to dental care. Since then, I have devoted myself to this community.
