Samidha Patel, DDS, is a Pediatric Dental Resident at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. She earned her initial dental degree from the College of Dental Sciences in Ahmedabad, India, before relocating to the United States to further her professional training. Dr. Patel received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in 2020.
Following graduation, she practiced as a general dentist in Jacksonville, Florida, for 3 years, during which time she developed a strong foundation in comprehensive patient care. Her clinical experiences reinforced her passion for pediatric dentistry and highlighted the significant gaps in access to specialized oral healthcare for children in underserved communities.
Throughout her academic career, Dr. Patel demonstrated strong leadership and commitment to service, holding positions as Secretary, Vice President, and Class President during dental school. She is deeply committed to advocacy and believes in empowering children and families through preventive education, early intervention, and positive dental experiences.
Dr. Patel is particularly passionate about fostering lifelong oral health habits by creating supportive, affirming clinical environments that reduce fear and build trust. Her mission as a future board-certified pediatric dentist is to expand access to quality pediatric dental care and promote healthier futures for children through compassionate, evidence-based practice.
