Dr. Venkata Naga Sai Suma Tetta, M.D.S., is an INBDE board-certified, internationally trained pediatric dentist and alumna of Lenora Institute of Dental Sciences, India. Her work focuses on minimally invasive pediatric dentistry, preventive care, and child-centered behavioral guidance, and she aims to pursue advanced pediatric training in the United States. Her long-term goal is to contribute to academic-clinical integration and provide compassionate, high‑quality care.
Dr. Tetta has been passionate about research since her undergraduate days, earning her the "Young Researcher Award" from the Institute of Scholars (InSc) in 2021 for her scientific curiosity and evidence-based practice from an early stage of her career. She published articles in reputable journals and also authored a book on dental trauma. She presented at three conferences and achieved "Best Poster Award" for her presentation titled “Special Care Dentistry: A Pediatric Perspective.” She is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) and Indian Society of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry (ISPPD), reflecting her commitment to global standards.
Her career took another exciting turn when she reunited with her husband in the United States, leading her to relocate and embrace the next chapter of her life with renewed purpose.
Dr. Tetta is currently shadowing three board-certified pediatric dentists, Dr. Gregerson, Dr. Alzayat, and Dr. Machani in Austin, Texas, gaining exposure to the U.S. pediatric oral healthcare system. She will participate in the 2026 ADEA PASS cycle to apply for pediatric dentistry residencies, demonstrating readiness for advanced clinical training. With a strong educational foundation and dedication to continuous learning, Dr. Tetta is poised to be a valuable asset to any dental school or residency program she joins.
Dr. Tetta hopes every child leaves the clinic feeling braver, calmer, and confident in their smile. Beyond dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her caring husband.
