Parker Norman DMD, ML is a first year Pediatric Dentistry Resident at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Adam’s School of Dentistry and UNC Hospitals. She attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine under the National Health Service Corps Scholarship Program. While at Penn, she also studied in the Master in Law dual-degree program at Penn Carey Law school. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a B.S. in Health Policy and Management and minors in Spanish and Entrepreneurship. She has been actively involved in advocacy and policy work since undergrad when she interned with the North Carolina Oral Health Collaborative. During dental school, she served in the American Student Dental Association across the chapter, district, and national levels, most recently serving as national Speaker of the House. Currently she serves on the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Residents Committee and American Dental Education Association Legislative Advisory Committee. Her interests lie in pediatric dentistry, oral health advocacy and policy, and public health. In her personal life, she enjoys exploring the national parks, running marathons, listening to 80s music, and cheering on the UNC Tar Heels and Philadelphia Phillies.
