Anna Forsyth, DDS, MSD, MEd, Associate Teaching Professor, University of Washington School of Dentistry, Department of Pediatric Dentistry, is a board-certified Pediatric Dentist with 20 years of interdisciplinary dentistry experience and twelve years in academia. She has served in a variety of roles at the institutional, state, and national levels, and currently holds the position of pediatric dentistry predoctoral director at the University of Washington School of Dentistry. Dr. Forsyth design and implement programs to support the training of dental students and dental hygiene students in the care of patients with special healthcare needs and provide mentorship for learners. She serves on multiple interdepartmental committees and teaches year-round. Dr. Forsyth is active in the American Dental Education Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Washington Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and Washington Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Foundation, with the stated mission to improve the oral health of Washington’s children, as well as to support advanced education in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Forsyth has authored multiple publications in the areas of microbiology, autism, and dental caries.
