Dr. Rosana Hanke Herrero graduated from the University of Puerto Rico, School of Dental Medicine, in 1998. She completed a General Practice Residency (GPR) at the UPR Medical Sciences Campus in 1998–1999. In 1999, she began her residency in the Pediatric Dentistry Postgraduate Program, where she later completed her specialty training. She earned her Master’s degree in Pediatric Dentistry in 2005.
Dr. Hanke is a Diplomate and a Fellow of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Since 2001, she has served as a Professor at the UPR School of Dental Medicine and currently holds the position of Clinical Director of the Postgraduate Pediatric Dentistry Clinic, in addition to serving as a research mentor for residents.
She has recently participated as a national and international speaker—in Spanish and Portuguese—at conferences including ALOP, Greater New York, AOP Virtual, CCDPR, Soceo ULS–Chile, JAO–Brazil, and AAON 2021–Argentina. She is pleased to share her experience and passion for infant oral health with the professional community.
